I started collecting NES games in the summer of 1998. I was fifteen and had not taken drivers ed yet because I hated everyone at my school, so I had to take it during the summer. I began collecting NES games the day before driver's ed started. The whole two weeks I was in there all I did was think up stuff that could go on the NES website I was about to start, the ill fated "NES HEAVEN." I remember the instructor up at the front talking about yielding or something, and me in the back of the class making a list of the most annoying games for the NES. Whenever we would go on breaks, I would pull out my Funcoland price sheet and highlight all the games I wanted to buy that day. At the time I thought it was a real drag, but looking back it was pretty cool. Everyone has memories that you think about alot, like your first home run, or the first time you got laid. You know, those types of memories that make you say, "man I wish I could go back to that day." Well driver's ed is one of those memories to me.
