Ok. So I hear that this guy named Earnest has started a site called NES Land, and that he is going around talking shit to everyone and basically making an ass out of himself. This guy says his site is the best NES site on the internet, but in reality all it has is reviews of games like Super Mario Bros. and Duck Hunt. Wow. I've never seen that before.
So I'm in IRC and I hear everyone talking about how this Earnest guy has totally ripped off an article that was featured on NES Player. Earnest admits that he used the article to write his, but he changed around the words...doesn't sound like something the best NES webmaster on the internet would do to me.
So I read all about it, and the whole thing kinda pisses me off cuz NES Player is one of my favorite sites, and that guy talked alot of shit to Groxx (the webmaster of NES Player) and I like Groxx. But I let it go. It wasn't my problem, so I didn't really worry about it.
Today I'm talking to kabuki and he asks me if I've seen The Dream Factory section of NES Land. He says it looks just like the NES Dreams section I have on this site.
So I go NES Land and I look at the section and my jaw drops. It's exactly the fucking same!
Now I don't really care that he has an NES Dream section. Although I can't think of any other site that had one, there prolly was an NES site before mine with a section featuring NES Dreams. That doesn't bother me. What does bother me is the image and the text on both pages are exactly the same! All he did was change a few of my words! This isn't fucking mad libs! The plagerism is so obvious it's not even funny. Please be my guest and compare the above to my NES Dreams section. You see what I'm talking about? Just alike!
He stole my section. He stole my image. And he even stole my fucking paragraph!
Well asshole, I'm taking down my link to your shitty site and I'm recommending that no one visit NES Land, not only because he has stole almost everything he has on his site, but also because it just plains sucks in general.
