I don't know the guy who sent me this, so I can't verify if it is true or not. I thought it was funny though, and I have replied to this guy to try and get more details. Here is the email I recieved.

Hi. I like your website, I visit it everyday. I am writing you to tell you about my close encounter with the NWC cart. This is not an easy story to tell, but I understand that it can be considered somewhat comical. Every month in my town a group of people get together for a giant swap meet. There is always allot of interesting stuff there so I usually check it out. A few years ago, before I had ever heard of the NWC, I was looking through the videogames one lady had for sale at her booth. She mostly had allot of SNES and Genesis games, but she had a few NES games. I looked through the big box the games were in and sure enough at the bottom of the box was a NWC cart. Like I said before, I had never seen or heard of the the NWC cart before, the only real reason it caught my eye was because it was gold, and I thought that only Zelda was gold. Being as she wanted $10 a game and I only had about $10 on me at the time, I ended up buying Super Metroid for the SNES. A couple years later, I had started getting into playing NES more and more, and I visited NES World or tsr's NES site (I can't remember) and was shocked to see that I had let such a rare game slip right through my finger tips. Everyday, I think about that swap meet and wish I had used my brain, and paid $10 for a cart worth almost 100 times that. I ended up trading Super Metroid into Funcoland for some Gameboy game about a year later. Anyway, just thought you might be interested to hear my story.
Sincerely,
James Eager
So of course I replied back:

Your story is quite sad if it is true, but that is a highly unusual email for me to get. Come on, are you telling me the truth or is this just some kind of prank?

I assure you I am telling the truth. After I descovered how rare the cart was I tried to find the lady who was selling it at her booth, but she was not there. I just write the whole experience off as missing a chance to buy something rare. It isn't the worst thing that ever happened to me, but I do wish I hadn't passed it up.
Sincerely,
James Eager
Well there you have it. I don't know if this is a hoax or not, but I think that is about all I can get out of this guy.
