Tecmo released Ninja Gaiden 1, 2, and 3 for the NES. The series did very well and became millions of gamer's favorite games. Then a few years later Tecmo released the Ninja Gaiden trilogy for the SNES. It was supposed to be an updated version, but it turned out to be simply an exact copy of the three games on a different cart. The only difference was that the music now sucked. Bad... really bad.
