![]() The Karate Kid is complete crap. Everything about this game, from the stupid graphics that look like shit, to the sorry ass control, makes me want to pull my hair out and slam my head through the tv. But, I figured I might at well put up a shrine to this god awful game, since I haven't seen any. Just remember The Karate Kid is one of the worst games ever. |

This level is extremely easy. Level 1 starts where The Karate Kid movie ends. To get past this level you will have to beat four other karate kids. All you have to do to win is stay in one place. Just stand still and continuously kick. The computer will run right into it every time. The only one of these four competitors you have to fight who is even slightly difficult is the last one. So, this strategy works best on him. |

Now that Daniel-san has won his stupid tournament, we are on to Okinawa. This level is also pretty easy, but is alot harder than the first. There are not too many jumps you have to do in this level, so it is pretty straight forward. Sometimes when you kill an enemy you will see a C or a D. These give you energy so get as many of them as you can.
![]() About half way through the level you will come accross Daniel's girlfriend, or someone, hovering in the sky. For some reason she is a powerup, so get her.
![]() When you get to the end of the level, you have to fight some jerk-off from the movie. Just use the same strategy aslevel 1. Stand there and kick him over and over again. |

Level 3 is very frusterating. The typhoon has just struck Okinawa, and Daniel-san is trying to get through all the wreckage to rescue his girlfriend. There are several jumps you will hvae to make in this level, which are very hard. Whenever a jump is coming up, make sure there are no enemies around, because if they hit you, they will bounce you into the water, and you will die. That is probably the hardest part of this level.
![]() Once again, a little before the halfway mark of the level is another powerup. Depending upon whether or not you have been stuck between two enemies, you may really need it.
![]() At the end of this level, you have to rescue your girlfriend. You have the choice of either climbing up the steps and rescuing her or fighting the boss of the level for her. I always just climb the steps really fast before the boss even appears. It makes things alot easier. |

Level 4 is by far the hardest level. There are a bunch of guys with spears who come running at you are really hard to kill. I've found that the best way is just to immedietly kick them as soon as they appear. Most of the time your foot will go straight through the spear and hit them. Most enemies in this level also require two hits to kill. Keeping two enemies behind you and running the whole way is a good strategy on this one.
![]() It has all come down to the final battle. Daniel-san vs Chozen. Don't let anything happen to the girl, or you will have to start over. Chozen is not much harder than any other boss, so you should not have too much trouble.
![]() Now rejoice as you have beaten one of the sorriest games ever made on the NES. Now you can go on with your life, never wondering how the ending to The Karate Kid video game was :D |

Keep two enemies behind you, but keep them on screen and you won't have to fight anyone. Just keep running and they will follow right behind you. |

When this bonus stage starts Daniel-san will start doing his gay breathing thing. When the LIFE bar is at its highest, hit either A or B to break the ice.
![]() Press A or B to catch the flies. This bonus stage is really easy. The flies don't move too fast, so you should be able to catch them all.
The swinging hammer stage is really annoying, and hard to get the hang of. As the hammer comes down press either A or B to dodge the hammer. |
